Who are Nice Tours?

Nice Tours is a Luxor travel agency that trades as Nice Tours LLC and gives its address as 1 Corniche al-Nil in Luxor. It sells Luxor day tours, balloon packages, Nile cruises and day trips to Luxor from Hurghada and Cairo. Most travelers find it on GetYourGuide, where it supplies a private full-day tour of the West and East Banks with Tutankhamun's tomb — from about $80 a person, eight hours, rated 4.8 from 264 reviews. The company's own website links to that GetYourGuide supplier page, so the two are the same business.

What we couldn't verify is the license. The site shows a "registration number" without saying which register issued it, and a search of the Egyptian Travel Agents Association index found no company under the Nice Tours name. That isn't proof of a problem — many Egyptian brands trade under a differently named licensed company — but it means you should ask for the Ministry of Tourism license number if you book direct.

What Nice Tours sells in Luxor and what it costs

Option Where Price Duration Tickets included? Pickup
Private full day, both banks + Tut's tomb GetYourGuide from about $80 per person 8 h Check the option's "includes" line Luxor hotels
Private full day + balloon + felucca + lunch nicetours.net from $75 per person about 10 h Listed as included Luxor hotels and cruise boats

Edfu, Kom Ombo, Philae and Nubian village nicetours.net from $192 long day Check the tour page Luxor hotels

The direct prices look low for what they promise — a sunrise balloon flight alone costs about as much on the platforms. Before paying, get written confirmation of the price for your group size and of which tickets are included.

How booking, payment and cancellation work

  • On GetYourGuide: you pay the platform, and the cancellation terms on the listing apply.
  • Direct: the terms describe a deposit or full payment by bank transfer; paying either counts as accepting the terms.
  • Cancellation (direct): a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before the trip, requested in writing; refunds go back to the original payment method.
  • Language: English is standard; Spanish, German or French guides cost $100 extra on the balloon-and-banks day.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • A 4.8 rating from 264 reviews on its private day, at about $80 a person
  • Based in Luxor, with a street address on the Corniche
  • Tutankhamun's tomb on the itinerary of its main private day
  • Simple direct cancellation rule: full refund more than 24 hours out

Cons

  • License not matched in the official ETAA index under this name
  • Direct prices that seem too low need written confirmation of inclusions
  • Bank transfer is the payment method named in its terms
  • Non-English guides cost $100 extra on some tours

Verdict

Our score: 3.9 / 5. On price and reviews together, Nice Tours' private day is among the best values we found in Luxor, and booking it through GetYourGuide removes most of the risk. We'd score it higher if the company published a license number we could match in the ETAA index. Book it on the platform; if you go direct, ask for the license number and a written list of inclusions first.

Questions travellers ask

How much does Nice Tours charge in Luxor?

Its private full-day tour of the West and East Banks with Tutankhamun's tomb starts at about $80 a person on GetYourGuide, eight hours with hotel transfers. On its own website, a full day of both banks with a sunrise balloon flight and a felucca sail is listed from $75, with entrance fees shown as included and a $100 supplement for a guide in a language other than English.

Is Nice Tours a licensed company?

We couldn't confirm it. The company's site shows a Luxor Corniche address and a "registration number", but doesn't say which register it belongs to, and we found no company under the Nice Tours name in the Egyptian Travel Agents Association index. Many brands trade under a different registered name, so ask for the Ministry of Tourism license number before paying direct.

What is Nice Tours' cancellation policy?

Its terms say a trip canceled more than 24 hours before the start gets a full refund, and that cancellations must be made in writing by email. Refunds go back by the original payment method. On GetYourGuide, the cancellation line on the listing applies instead.

Is Nice Tours the same company as on GetYourGuide?

Yes. The nicetours.net website links to its own supplier page on GetYourGuide, and the private both-banks tour on the platform is listed under the Nice Tours name. Booking there means you pay GetYourGuide rather than the company.

Does the Nice Tours private day include Tutankhamun's tomb?

The GetYourGuide listing names the tomb in its title and itinerary. Whether the separate Tutankhamun ticket is in the price depends on the option you choose, so check the "includes" section of the listing before booking — the tomb needs its own ticket on top of the Valley of the Kings entry.
